The Newington Neighbor is a non-profit publication for the benefit of the Newington Community.

Our mission is:

To Foster Neighborliness

To Promote Understanding, &

To Improve Communications.

The Newington Neighbor is a celebration of Newington's people. With all the new homes and industry in Town, we still feel that Newington's greatest asset is its people. When they are gone, we miss them most of all - so while Townspeople are with us, let's celebrate and be thoughtful of one another!

Subscriptions

The Newington Neighbor is published four times a year at Town Meeting and in June, September and Year-end .

Editors

The Newington Neighbor celebrated 30 years of publication in 2002 and has witnessed great changes in our Town over the past years.

Sadly, both of our senior editors, Marjorie Pickering and Margherita Mazeau, have passed away. We will always remember them as our "editors in aeternum." To say they will be missed is an understatement. However, we have a dedicated crew who is still volunteering many days and weeks of effort every year to bring you Town news and events!
